About the Artist
Suzanne Weller’s musical credentials include a B.A. in Music Performance from San Jose State University, an A.A. in Music plus a Certificate of Achievement in Pro Tools and Music Technology from Foothill College. Suzanne was trained in classical flute at Stanford University studying with the late Francis Blasidell. She also studied flute at San Jose State University with Isabelle Chapuis (from the Paris Conservatory) participated in flute workshops with Jean-Pierre Rampal (from Paris, France) and William Bennett (Royal College of Music in London), received jazz instruction from Adrian Brett ( London) and Ray Brown at Cabrillo College (Aptos, CA).
Suzanne taught private flute and piano in Los Gatos at Joplin and Sweeney Music Company and has been on the faculty of De Anza College, Foothill College and San Jose State University as an adjunct professor.
Suzanne has recorded, engineered and produced 4 out of 5 of her own CDs and recorded (and composed) ambient music for meditation CDs, soundtracks for videos, radio commercials and art shows. Other recorded works include; the composing and recording of background music for a children's book called "The Amazing Adventures of Radish Toe" (along with recording and audio editing of dialog), audio, video editing of an "informercial" for Akonni Biosystems in Campbell, CA, and editing and mixing of a CD of Russian children's stories with piano music called "Nanushka".
Cuckoos Nest Music is Suzanne’s collection of compositions and creations using Pro Tools and Logic Pro, as well as her collection of CDs.
